Division Eras: 2006-2007, 2009-2011

Special Ops began in February 2006, but the division was short-lived. It was revived in July 2006 in a division split from Xero Degrees with KSI CryWolf SO as the Founder and two squads to start, Reserves SO and Affinity SO. Firewall SO came about a short time later as a filter squad to check on new recruits and introduce them to the other squads. When another KSI division suffered a hit, KSI EMU XD and KSI Satana were the ones from SO on to help with recovery efforts, resulting in EMU's promotion from Co-Founder to Co-Clan Leader. CryWolf then proceeded to hit the SO squads he could and left KSI. EMU led the division in its recovery and, upon receiving a promotion out of the division, passed the torch to Satana. She continued the work under guidance from EMU and KSI ADIDAS 7, and the SO division built to seven fully functional squads. Satana and KSI FOXHOUND 7, Co-Clan Leader and Founder, proceeded to hit the division in December 2006.
The remaining division staff rebuilt SO under the leadership of KSI KoolAid 7 along with EMU's assistance. By April 2007, it was a wholly functional division again that continued to build and progress, despite leadership changes and bumps along the way. Former SO officers KSI DAEMON 7 and KSI SHANKLOVER 7 became a Senior Director and Clan Leader of FS, respectively, in that time. SO began to serve as a shield division, into which all the questionable recruits or returning members were funneled. SO became close with the division's Dragon Realm and Gaming Outlaws, the three competing in challenges and supporting each other. KSI DRAGONBEAST began rampaging through KSI, beginning with DR and proceeding to hit as many squads and divisions as possible by planting associates. SO assisted DR with the initial recovery with Satana as Clan Leader again, but SO's Co-Clan Leader became integrated and hit all but one SO squad. Thanks to the quick thinking of the remaining division staff, the loss of members was minimal. Satana was blamed for the hits and blacklisted again. SO shut down a few months later.
In 2008, former Gaming Outlaws division staff returned to KSI and revived SO again. Many of the initial staff had been members of Last Khaos Gaming or Xero Velocity Gaming prior to returning to KSI. The close-knit group, led by KSI Techgnosis, proceeded to build SO. A conflict between the division staff and upper leadership led to SO being annihilated by hits again, and the division closed down.
SO's final run as a division began in roughly March 2011 and lasted until approximately September of the same year. (More info needed)
