A squad belonging to Xiled Horde established on July 29th, 2024 Purgatory VH was split from Unforgiven VH with the successful departure of KSI Medusa (2023) receiving her promotion to Co-Founder. KSI Alucard was selected to be the first Squad Leader.

Purgatory was one of the 5 squads that went to Xiled Horde after the Viking Horde split, officially making it Purgatory XH.

On 10/2/24 KSI Celine Blackrose took over as Squad Leader after nearly a month of training with KSI Medusa x7. Soon after, KSI Baenre and multiple members would transfer over from Endless Onslaught which provided a much-needed stimulus of staff and members.

Ironically, while several transfers likely saved the squad from being shut down, all of Purgatory XH, besides 6 Members, would transfer out of Xiled Horde to Infinite Anarchy, creating a new squad there, Uprising IA, on 11/17/24. The Director of XH, KSI DirtyHeathen 7, took over the squad as a project squad.

Because that wasn't enough story, the new Uprising IA team began returning to Purgatory on 12/6/24. The members and officers stated several reasons for returning including feeling lied to.

Purgatory XH was shut down on 2/26/2025 after 6 months and 28 days of not being able to split or make significant growth. It was merged into Coven XH.
