The Road to Splitting and Beyond
The journey to splitting was a thrilling and unforgettable experience for Eragon, a dedicated leader within the community. Reflecting on the process, they shared, "The road to splitting was amazing in every way, and I wouldn't have changed a thing. Of course, it had its good times and bad times, but I got to know some amazing people along the way."
Despite the challenges, the transition fostered a strong bond among members. "My squad had my back every step of the way, and I appreciate all of them so much," Eragon added.
Since the split, both squads have continued to thrive. "Things have been good, both squads are still very active and thriving. I have just been helping out when/if they need it," they explained. However, stepping back from a leadership role has been an adjustment. "A big challenge for me is going to be getting used to someone else running the squad and me taking a bit of a step back so they can do what they need to do." Meanwhile, Kanekiisabadass, another dedicated leader, acknowledged their challenges in the new structure. "Things have been a bit challenging. I need to find a way to get people interested in ranking up as well as getting my people to recruit. I got this though!"
Looking to the future, both leaders remain optimistic about the squads’ growth. "They all have one another's backs and are very active within their squads as well as with each other. Both squads listen closely to their officer core and members, ensuring everyone has the chance to be included," Eragon said.
Kanekiisabadass also set a clear goal moving forward: "My goal is to get Nebula to be the amazing squad my best friend built before the split." With strong leadership and dedicated members, the future looks bright for both squads as they continue to evolve and strengthen their communities.
