History

Years Active: 2005-2025

The Achievement Awards Program is an Original KSI Team whose purpose was to award KSI Members with various prizes to celebrate their achievements and community engagement. In the early days, there was a point-based system where members could redeem points for Xbox merchandise. For many years AAP was forums-centric by providing members award badges that displayed under all of their comments and posts alongside their signatures and About-Mes. When KSI moved to Discord and off of the forums, the awards took the form of roles (such as the "Recruiter Award"), "Trophy Bot" lists, and KSI Wiki awards. AAP has a legacy beyond KSI due to practically every split-off community bringing the idea with them, most notably KSI (.org) and XGN to name a couple.
