Hello everyone, and welcome to KSIGlobal.com. Today, I'm interviewing Erbs, an art director for KSI, as well as an all-around cool kid. Despite his complete hatrid for everyone, he has decided to sit down and have a little chat with me. Thanks for your time, Erbs. First things first:
Sumidor 063:
How long have you been a graphics artist? Not just for KSI, but in total.
Erbs: About two years.
Sumidor 063: What is your preferred style? Any combinations?
Erbs: I have my own style (messy). It's all I can do.
Sumidor 063: Very nice, very nice. Got a name for it?
Erbs: No, but ill make one up just for you: Erban.
Sumidor 063: Amazing. So what brought you to KSI?
Erbs: Believe it or not, clans. I was recruited into XGC a very long time ago, before I knew anything about organized clans. Within a week, my leaders told me that XGC was gone and moving to another clan called FSI, however they lied and tricked me; so I went with them there. I worked my way up the ranks and was 3rd highest rank when we had like 4K people. At about that time our council made some sort of alliance with KSI. I met Adidas, Satana and a bunch of other leaders. KSI and FSI's alliance lasted less that a week... Anyway, we were fine for a while, and then FSI's council members began fighting and eventually broke up; a ton of clans spawned from FSI. I was in a bunch of them. Then I remembered about Adidas and Satana and thought they were cool, so I figured I'd give KSI a shot. Avaria told me my clan history was too messy for me to join, but Adidas came and said its all good. I was put into a dead clan, something in XD. I recruited a ton of people and the clan began to breath life. I was a general in less than a week because I had good leadership skills. Then my co-founder made me a peon and told me I was demoted and stole all the credit for the clan success. So, I decided I had been screwed over for the last time, and I was done with clans for good. I stayed in KSI because of the GFX team; Aanoi, Avaria, and Wormo mostly.
Sumidor 063: What is your "official" title on the forums?
Erbs: "Official"? Art Director, I guess, or maybe professional argue with everyone guy.
Sumidor 063: I like it; fits you well, doesn't it? What really sets you off (makes you angry) in the graphics area?
Erbs: Two things. 1) When people cant follow simple rules. 2) When "leaders" step in and punish me and my artists for us getting mad at them for not following rules.
Sumidor 063: That's understandable. Maybe we need to show them what's what!
Erbs (9:44 PM): Yarr.
Sumidor 063: Out of all of the video games you have ever played, which are your top three?
Erbs: Pokemon Red, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Halo 2.
Sumidor 063: Pikachu or Bulbasaur?
Erbs: Ewww, neither.
Sumidor 063: Zapidos?
Erbs: Sure.
Sumidor 063: Master ball or Great ball?
Erbs: Don't be noob now.
Sumidor 063: Favorite genre of music and artist?
Erbs: Rap and rock... Right now, probably Modest Mouse.
Sumidor 063: Shooters or adventure games?
Erbs: All of the above.
Sumidor 063: Favorite KSI site?
Erbs: KSI Forums.
Sumidor 063: Theme?
Erbs: I'm on plain now, but I still miss 360. They need to bring it back.
Sumidor 063: Any other comments, questions, concerns?
Erbs: Was this this the most random interview you have ever done?
Sumidor 063: Nah. I've had worse.
Erbs: Good. Make sure to say I'm lazy and I hate everyone.
