Squad Split Prophecy to Galaxy Squad Article
Another squad has split which means KSI is getting bigger and bigger, I was fortunate enough to be able to interview the co founder and both of the squad leaders as well.
While they have been busy sorting out their squad and real-life stuff, they were willing to answer my questions.
I asked TrashPanda whom is the co-founder of Galaxy how things have been going and what the future plans are their response was " Well I mean splitting the squad was super-fast with how the squad was working together at first it seemed like a slow process due to me asking the squad to slow down on the recruiting when I did this they stopped so we worked together and in 3 weeks we split since the split things have gotten better for me I feel as it means I get to show what I have learnt in the short space of time I’ve been here as I went from member to squad leader in 3 weeks and squad leader to co-founder in another 3 weeks I still learn each process and what is needed to better myself as a co-founder and a friend along the way I will continue to do this as it’s what makes me stand out I believe the challenges ahead in my new role is settling into it and also understanding what is needed of me but also trying not to over step the line. What I’m expecting to see is great leadership and also just being there for one another for each squads members and officer core just genuinely showing that they care for each other that is what goes a long way".
I asked the squad leaders some questions one of them is T1_Smokes69. T1_Smokes69 was asked what the road to splitting was like for them and he said "He joined in January and became a cadet next day in nebula then split from nebula to prophecy and became officer in prophecy a week later, he enjoyed it liked talking to people. With in 3 weeks of being SO he was squad leader and ever since has loved it." I also asked how things have been since the split and he stated "it has been up and down, had some leaves people transferring in and out, stressful but trying to get 3rd SO. Been slowly recruiting. Happy with doin game nights and just happy being there. Wants to try and split again." i asked him about some challenges that may lay ahead for them and he said "Keeping members active and recruiting, and officer core. Should be fine if they lock in and get it done properly always has plans in place." I asked what he expected to see out of the 2 squads and he said "Wants to help out as much as he can, wants prophecy to gain strong recruiters, wants galaxy to have more professionalism and to be more chill at the same time."
The other one I asked is C2_Smokes25, first question was What the road to splitting was like and they said "Was so scary and nerve racking when we was splitting", I then asked how things have been since the split they stated "Slowly getting there with the activity and recruiting". The last 2 questions I asked were what challenges may lay ahead for you and what are you expecting out of the 2 squads and they stated "Making sure everything is in place and make sure people are safe and happy in the squad" for challenges that may lay ahead and "Hoping to see if my squad can get higher than a certain number” for what he is expecting out of the squads.
All in all from talking to them that it can be scary, nerve wracking and exciting being in a squad split. I very much have enjoyed interviewing these lovely people and hope that their squad succeeds.
