It should come to your attention of what Bungie is doing now, as you will ALL be required to download this new Auto Update. It is important for yout to know the following:
ANY modified content will be banned. ACTION REPLAY IS MODDED CONTENT, soft mods too, obviously. The ban applies soley to matchmaking. It comes up with a little message and that's it. You do not get a second chance. It's permanent and there is no appeal process. Also note that if you are only using these files in custom games, YOU WILL STILL BE BANNED. Bungie is ruthless and will still ban you from all matchmaking if you use modified content on Live. If you are reading this, it is probably already avaliable. Bungie is doing the banning, not X-Box Live (Microsoft) The stats are NOT being reset. The teleporter jump has been fixed. Quitting a game is not a bannable offense. Having a team-killer on your team sucks, but that's not a bannable offense either. Many people are also aware of the "super jumping" phenomenon that allows players on some maps to jump to extreme heights. We are monitoring this situation for long term impacts to game balance but we are not banning people who do this simply because it's too widespread and is something that's basically built into the map. Anyone can do this if they want to though it is difficult to pull off in many cases. We will continue to monitor the impacts this bug has on our game.
