A new Sci-Fi RTS is about to be unleased into the galaxy. Genesis Rising: The Universal Code is based in a futuristic galaxy developed by Metamorf Studios and published by DreamCatch er Interactiv e. Sure this type of game has been released in the past, but this Sci-Fi game is going to blow the past games into another dimension.
Genesis Rising: The Universal Code is in the extreme distant future hen the human race controls everything in the entire galaxy, believing that they are the one divine race. Gamers will be playing as Captain Iconah and will encounter a variety of characters along the way. The main task at hand is to recover the Universal Heart which is a powerful object that will make humanity godlike. This task will not be the easiest that Captain Iconah will have to face as warefar, genocide and conquest has arrisen and too much blood will be shed in this time of great battle. The main source in this game is blood and you can compare this to currency in other games. Like others you have to send a specialize d unit to fetch the blood from a docking- station to be returned to your mothership which can then be converted into currency allowing you to purchace new upgrades for your ship. The amazing thing about your ship is it can grow and change during real-time battle so by purchasing DNA you are able to make your ship stronger.
As for the online gameplay, Genesis Rising provides in- campaign missions will be playable in cooperativ e multiplaye r and 16-player max multiplaye r function is also available for online play. There are three different factions to choose from, each with its own unique ships and DNA upgrades. You can choose from the humans, the Defiance which is an alien race that rebels agains the humans, and the Inquisitio n is a group of human outcasts who once fought to take control of the human race.
The Visuals look very impressive as the main starships look origianl as well as unique and there is a wide variety of different ship and alien types. There appears to be a great amount of depth to the strategy beind this game, so players will be able explore the way they play each and every mission. So PC gamers across the globe keep a keen eye out for this new title when it hits the shelves of your local gaming store in March 2007.
