Midway's latest sci-fi title, Blacksite Area 51, will take first person shooters to the next level on the Xbox 360, PC and PS3 this summer! Complete with single players,multiplayer online and co-op modes, Developed by Midway Studios Austin, Blacksite is poised to deliver a chaotic, tense and satisfying experience with outstanding graphics displays and an illuminating storyline that creates the ultimate entertainment experience. Major Nelson has offered some background in his blog: "The game takes place in a near future in which there is great turmoil in America. The government has spent the better part of fifty years abducting and torturing its own citizens and recombining their DNA with alien technologies to breed super soldiers. It's a dark secret that is on the verge of being exposed as the Reborn, this race of mutated people, still human, but very angry, have started a rebellion within the confines of Area 51, and they're threatening to break loose and unleash hell. It's up to the player, a decorated Army veteran, and his squad mates, to go in and stop the uprising, although the moral arguments aired along the way sound as though they'll drive an allegory that asks a lot of questions."
The Official Release Date for BlackSite Area 51 is September 2007 but for some of you who’s crazy about this amazing game, Midway has released a playable demo so just go to your Xbox 360 marketplace and get a glimpse at this kick ~Bad Word~ game. Midway is referring the game to be running on Unreal Engine III, Meaning the gamer can expect terrific physics and some pretty solid visuals. I have already downloaded this breathtaking demo and I must say, this is a MUST play demo!!
