📘 Workshop Request Policy & Procedure

Hey everyone! 👋

To help us keep workshops organized and make sure we have mentors ready to teach, please follow the updated process below when requesting a class.

📝 Requesting a Workshop

When requesting a workshop, please include:

   •    The topic or focus area you’d like covered
   •    At least three (3) possible time frames that work for you
   •    A minimum of 48 hours’ notice before the earliest requested time

Requests with less than 48 hours’ notice may be denied or rescheduled.

🧭 Scheduling Process

   1.   Once your request is submitted, a Senior Mentor (or LDP Team Lead if needed) will:
   •    Review your topic and time options
   •    Find an available mentor
   •    Confirm a final class time that works for everyone

   2.   The confirmed class will then be:
   •    Added to the official calendar 🗓️
   •    Announced with details for everyone to see

🔁 If You Need to Reschedule

If you or the mentor needs to change the time, please reach out to a Senior Mentor or LDP Team Lead as soon as possible so we can get it adjusted quickly.

LDP Team Lead is responsible to ensure that everyone is being reached out to by a Senior mentor and that the workshop requests are being handled swiftly.
