History

Web Operations has been a cornerstone of KSI since its inception, beginning with the organization’s first server, website, and digital assets.

The legacy of Web Operations—often referred to as Web Ops or simply WO—is rich and deeply interwoven into KSI’s structure. For a significant portion of KSI’s past, Web Operations encompassed everything outside of Clan Operations. At times, it represented nearly the entire organization apart from one or two sectors, while in other eras, it was limited to just a few specialized teams.

Over the years, tensions have occasionally flared between Clan Ops and Web Ops, resulting in notable power struggles. One of the most infamous of these feuds contributed to one of the largest splits in KSI history: the formation of KN. Despite these conflicts, both sides have played essential roles in shaping the community. Neither Clan Ops nor Web Ops would be what they are today without the influence of the other.

The rank structure over Web Ops has also been dynamic, with ranks Like Director, Senior Director, and Executive Director of Web Operations being relatively recent additions.

While it may be nearly impossible to document every team that has ever fallen under Web Operations, the specific years they operated, and every leader along with their rank, this page serves as a genuine effort to capture and preserve that history as accurately as possible.
