Introduction[edit | hide all | hide | edit source]

The 2023 Rebuild kicked off when KSI Frosty 7 brought back KSI Katana 7 and KSI Viktory 7 to help rebuild KSI from sub-100 members. KSI was on a downward spiral since the banning of KSI Viktory 7, who was Executive Director at the time, by KSI Kered 7 and KSI Mizz Airy 7 due to inappropriate group chat messages being leaked by KSI Noob. Members such as KSI BUBBA 7 and KSI Sophrosyne 7 had tried to run the community in the absence of Viktory but failed due to a lack of proper guidance from Kered and Airy. An attempt to bring back former leaders was made earlier in the year involving KSI Hippocryte, KSI Sanji, KSI Copper 7, and a few others but they were unable to make movement with practically nothing to work with.

Final Judgement[edit | hide | edit source]

Final Judgement was the Division everyone joined into. FJ was the only division in KSI after Fallen Angels and Ancient Republic merged. By May 2023 it was the only "squad" left in KSI. There were many disagreements on how to move forward, but everyone had at least one idea: BUILD. Dozens of people were recruited into KSI; among all the names above, dozens more were former members and leaders. Of course, for everyone involved with building, the plan was to split FJ to create squads once again. KSI Linden 7, who was "El Jefe" at the time, just wanted to make KSI a single-div community but everyone overruled his voice. Final Judgement split on July 29th 2023 into three separate squads and a new Division: Chaos Remnants. CR was composed of Kyber CR, ran by KSI Gladius 7 and KSI xKitKat, Dreadnought CR, ran by KSI Artorius, KSI Rewster 7, KSI DC 77, and KSI Achilles 7, and Nemesis CR, ran by KSI New Blue and KSI xKing. CR was originally supposed to split into just two squads but KSI Frosty 7 had decided it would be best to split KSI DC 77 and KSI xKing up, so King went to Nemesis CR

Chaos Remnants[edit | hide | edit source]

Chaos Remnants started very well with only a few hiccups. The first of these hiccups was that CR's original name was supposed to be Golden Crusade but KSI Raze Drake 7 threw a massive fit about how it isn't right to start our only division with violent religious themes. After some convincing, KSI Katana 7 and others agreed with Raze and changed the name.

Divisional Leadership[edit | hide | edit source]

KSI Katana 7 Director of Clan Ops
KSI Viktory 7 Division Leader
KSI Frosty 7 Co-Founder
KSI Gladius 7 Co-Founder, Acting Kyber CR Squad Leader
KSI Artorius Dreadnought CR Squad Leader
KSI New Blue Nemesis CR Squad Leader

Kyber CR[edit | hide | edit source]

Kyber was almost doomed to fail from the beginning. When FJ split there wasn't a clear answer for who to choose as Squad Leader. KSI Gladius 7 was the acting squad leader while trying to train KSI xKitKat. Kyber had an unofficial split which created Leviathan CR due to KSI Asuna 7, KSI Kat 7, and KSI Sungazer 7 wanting a separate area to begin building Destiny 2 out. Kyber only officially split 8 months after its creation after going through 7 different squad leaders.

Dreadnought CR[edit | hide | edit source]

Dreadnought had a fast growing start led mostly by KSI Rewster 7, KSI DC 77, and KSI Achilles 7. Their squad leader was KSI Artorius who was new to leadership. Due to disagreements between himself and his officers and his lack of experience, he was demoted to officer, leaving Rewster to take his place. Dreadnought would split shortly afterward on September 16th, 2023, to create Requiem CR. Dreadnought was the first squad to split in CR.

Nemesis CR[edit | hide | edit source]

Nemesis started well under the leadership of KSI New Blue and KSI xKing. The original officers in the squad were KSI Cherry, KSI DarkSora, and KSI QUEEN K. The squad started off as an Apex Legends squad but as it grew to around 80 members it stalled which caused a rift between New Blue and King. With KSI Rewster 7 overseeing Nemesis as Co-Founder, it was decided that Nemesis would pick up Call of Duty as a second game. After that change some of the tensions were alleviated and the squad split to create Paradox CR on October 14th.

CR Legacy[edit | hide | edit source]

Chaos Remnants would go on to split three times, once under KSI Rewster 7 to create Endless Onslaught, again under KSI DC 77 to create Eternal Torment, and under KSI M3diiK 7 to re-open Synthetic Reality. Dreadnought CR Would be the only squad to remain in CR through two splits, but ended up going to Synthetic Reality under KSI REAPER 7, leaving CR with none of its original DNA by August 2024.

2023 Legacy[edit | hide | edit source]

In the following year, KSI would grow to have ~1400 members within three divisions. The build’s success and change in leadership since the Kered and Airy years made a lot of noise in the clan scene. Various relationships with other communities would change drastically. XDG who was previously friendly would turn hostile, meanwhile J2H who were hostile for many years would become friendly.

Most of the notable leaders who rejoined achieved very high ranks in the community, most notably, KSI Anatomy 7, KSI Rewster 7, and KSI Viktory 7.
