Article ==Article== Velaris split to Lumina In a move that has taken Synthetic Reality by storm, the popular squad Velaris has experienced a significant split, resulting in the birth of a new squad, Lumina, which is rapidly gaining traction among members and the division alike. Krimsyn the new Cofounder had high praise for the new squads and all the hard work they put in to get to where they are now, “I had a lot of work to do to prepare my staff for the split and their impending promotions. Most of my SO's were new to communities and hadn't been in this kind of field before. It definitely took MANY tests and many hours of preparing to get them ready for SL. However, I couldn't have done it without them. They were the backbone of our staff team.” Pink who took over the responsibility for Velaris also had this to say about their goals, “My main goal then and now is to keep everyone active. Now that we split things are the same. It was a bit scary the first few days but I know I still have lots of support from staff and my squad. My challenges and goals are to keep everyone active and to mingle. When I look at discord and see people chatting in different groups and in our squad chat or hanging out in different voice chats, it makes me happy.” Last but not least is the introduction to Panda and the new squad Lumina. Panda had some exciting words to say in reference to the split and her time in the community, “It was honestly exciting it’s been 10+ years since I really contributed to help split a squad since my XGN days. I guess I hit a wall and burnt out until I met two of my closest friends Krimsyn and Asuna. They lit up the fire that I once had after sitting down together and talking about our goals and plans for the future.” As far as challenges and goals for the future go, she seems ready to take them head on, “Honestly anything could end up being a challenge, I don’t know when or where but I’ll be ready to go head on with whatever bump I hit on the road, expect the unexpected but I will see through it to the end without hesitations. My goal is to create a comfortable environment for those who join a community for the first time. I’m really big on being respectful so I always remind my squad to treat others the same way you wanna be treated, give them a nice warm welcome and make sure they don’t feel left out to always have them included in whatever activity we do.” It’s refreshing to see a Squad Leader not look at members as just numbers, I hope we can all take these ideas and use them in our own squads. Congratulations once again to the 3 promotions and we at the News desk wish them the very best! We also have an extra quote from Asuna in reference to the great things the squads in Synthetic Reality are doing and the expectations on how they will succeed, “Nothing but success. The people I put in place were there for a reason. I have total faith in their abilities and leadership to lead successful squads. They held down the fort when I worked long days, and without their hard work, dedication, and striving for Synthetic Realities success, it wouldn't have been possible.” Salvation to Illuminati In a bold move set to reshape the landscape of Synthetic Reality, Salvation, a powerhouse in the Division, has announced the creation of a new sister squad aimed at expanding its influence and fostering talent. The new squad, named Illuminati, will serve as a strategic extension of the squad's growing empire, bringing together elite players, resources, and a shared vision for the future. This expansion marks a significant milestone in the squad's long-term plan to dominate Synthetic Reality and create a legacy of excellence that stretches across multiple platforms. In this article we sat down to speak with the two new Squad Leader’s and new Co-founder and got their takes on the shake up! Spychik who took over Salvation had this to say about the challenges of the squad split, “There were some challenges, such as learning how to recruit and having other officer members want to do so also. However, having contests that revolved around recruiting really motivated the staff, some more than others. Once we had enough squad members we were left looking for members that wanted to become staff members. Training became a priority at that point and once everyone was trained we were able to confidently split knowing both, new and old, squads were going to set up for success. Overall, it took a lot of work and time put in from the officer corps to find people to join our squad and keep them active in the community. In the matter of a week we did a full 180 and we used the momentum to get us to achieve the split.” I believe all Squad Leaders can relate to the pressure and hardships of the promotion and wanting to show why you belong in the spot you are in. While speaking to the other Squad Leader Void, they had this to say about goals moving forward with Illuminati, “My goal for Illuminati, is to transcend our cohesiveness and build a true family amongst my members. From our newest member Dirtay Don to our SO Fortune and every member in between. I intend to train all of my staff to be ready to be a squad leader at a moment’s notice and to lead the next generation of squads within KSI and to train and mentor those coming after us as well. I have high expectations for Illuminati and the people I have at my side as it would not be possible without each one of them. We will not rush a split, but we will build our cohesion and our comradery.” It’s always refreshing to have a new Squad Leader come in and lead by example. It always helps build a better community especially for those who this may be their first. Last but not least the new Co-founder Killua talks about what they expect to see from the new Squad Leaders and the future, “Things since the Split have been very different but very rewarding. While I have many years in communities this is my first time in Division Staff and is taking some getting used to. The challenge I see ahead of me right now is mainly helping the Leaders below me be able to bring up the next generation of leadership. Which is a lot easier said than done in some cases. I expect both Squads to do well, I have full faith and confidence with the team I put in place of both. They’re amazing and I’m excited to see how their own adventure goes.” With the launch of Illuminati, Salvation has once again demonstrated its commitment to innovation and dominance in Synthetic Reality. As both clubs work in tandem to develop new talent, expand their reach, and redefine the standards of excellence, members and Division staff alike will be watching closely to see how this new chapter unfolds. If history is any indicator, the success of Illuminati is not just a matter of growth—it’s a signal that the best is yet to come. Atomic to Helix "A new powerhouse has entered the KSI scene as in Synthetic Reality, a fresh squad formed within Atomic to create Helix. With a roster filled with skilled players from various backgrounds, this squad is ready to make waves in the gaming world. Bringing together a shared passion for gaming and a drive for growth, Helix promises not only fierce gameplay but also a tight-knit community where members can collaborate, improve, and push each other to new heights. As the squad kicks off its journey, fans are eager to see how this new force will rise through the ranks and leave its mark on KSI. I sat down to speak with the new Squad Leaders Anbu and Nofilter as well as the new Co-founder Omega and get their takes on how the split came to be and looking towards the future! Let’s see what the Anbu has to say about their goals,”The goals I’ve set in stone for Helix are to build a strong Officer core and to split and expand in Synthetic Reality. My goal is to make Helix an OG squad like Dreadnought to split multiple times so Helix may forever be engraved into SR. Since the split, so far I’ve learned many things and just how far your decisions and the way you carry yourself around people goes. There’s been a few challenges and errors on my part but so far it goes without saying we are only human. We learn and adapt to new and old challenges that present themselves. I’m glad I have my fellow brothers who are my Officer core to help me tackle any issues that may arise.” No filter is the new Squad Leader over Atomic and had this to say on the split, ”The road to splitting was interesting to say the least. When I joined the community I was skeptical about ranking up due to past experiences. I went through a squad split and didn't even realize it. It wasn't until I started getting into the community that I decided to rank up in Atomic. Once I did I just got back into the role that I had been in several times before. I have loved every second of it.” That’s what it’s all about when you think of a split. Being able to have fun and love the people you game with and your squad is fuel enough to continue to give drive and ambition to any member. Omega takes over as the new Co-founder and says this about the split and squads, “Since the split Helix has hit the ground running and making waves! They are currently sitting with 69 members and are 4 promotions away from having a full officer corps! Atomic on the other hand has been making sure to focus on hosting events and getting members active! Both squads are set to split on or right after the 30 day grace period! Atomic and Helix would not be where they are today without Filter and Anbu's hard work and dedication. They are Truly the ones that deserve the credit!” Like the true leader Omega is always giving credit to where it is due. As Helix begins its journey, SR is watching closely. With passion, talent, and teamwork at its core, the squad is ready to take on whatever challenges lie ahead. Whether they’re hosting game nights or building new connections, Helix and Atomic are set to leave a lasting impact and show what’s possible when like-minded players come together to create something special. ==Additional Info== <gallery mode="packed"> File:Velaris-Lumina.png File:Atomic-Helix.png File:Salvation-Illuminati.png </gallery> Written by: Chef Cos VH 7, KSI AstroBoy 506, Opie_Raz Publish Date: 11/24/2024 1:40 PM Featured People: KSI Krimsyn, Pink, KSI Panda SR 7, KSI Asuna 7, KSI Killua, Spychik, Void, KSI NOFILTER, KSI Omega WS, KSI ANBU WS, Fortune, Featured Pages: Velaris SR, Lumina SR, Atomic SR, Helix SR, Salvation SR, Illuminati SR
