Editing Article: Nemesis Splits to Thyra

In a surprising turn of events, the renowned Viking Horde Squad Nemesis has officially split, leading to the formation of a new powerhouse squad Thyra. This move has sent shockwaves through KSI and Viking Horde all together, as Thyra, composed of key former Nemesis Members, aims to uplift VH with a fresh strategy and renewed vigor. We will be catching up with Nemesis Squad Leader - Cook, Thyra Squad Leader - Ssspirit and the new Cofo who brought them together, Sassy Kitten.

Let’s catch up with Cook and see how the split was for him.

Background: I've been a gamer my whole life pretty much, since I got my first SNES at 4 years old. At about 12, I first got into online gaming with Xbox Live. I loved clans back then and started my own with my friends sometime in high school. Then I kinda got busy with life and lost touch with all my gaming buddies over the years. I finally found a community again in  a mobile game. A text based crime rpg called Torn.For over a year, we were competing in highly organized competition almost every weekend. 2-4 days of fighting back and forth with the opposing faction for loot and glory.  But all things come to an end, and falling loot prices made that unsustainable in the end. I disbanded the faction, sold it off, and I will never need money for anything again in that game. Then shortly after that, I found KSI! 

Splitting was kinda chaotic with Chef Cos having to leave to fill Vexos's Cofo spot and Kitten getting moved up. I was expecting the new leads to be Kitten and Freya initially. It's been very calm since the split. Recruitment could be a little better, but we're holding at 50 something members, so that's better than losing people, activity is pretty decent, and the officer core is recovering very nicely. It's the people's problems that have presented the new challenge. Off the top of my head, I know I've dealt with one guy being rude to one of my members and two wildly different cases of harassment.
My goals moving forward are first to ensure Nemesis continues to run smoothly, eventually to the point where we split again. Then I can see what I can do as a Cofo.

We are excited to see where Cook goes from here! Let’s catch up with the New Leader of Thyra Ssspirit. 

Well my journey on KSI was soo welcome when I came in. I met awesome members and the squad I joined was Nemesis squad and it was a fun beautiful community when I was there. Game nights were fun and social nights too as I was always on and playing with everyone. All the members were active and had such positive energy and the leaders of Nemesis were so professional and fun and were so welcome. Well the split was so sad because I did love everyone in nemesis and didn’t want to split, we would chill so much it was amazing but everyone was so amazing. I can’t stop saying it a lot because it was so true . I wanted to join the leadership because I wanted to know more of KSI and learn from them. So I wanted to succeed just like other leaders. I wanted to push myself and be the best leader I can for the community of KSI and I want to prove to the leaders and myself that I can be a successful leader and be a trusted person so I have always been loyal and respectful to everyone . So this is the beginning of me to improve and prove I can be more confident and show others that we can prove our goals and support for KSI.
Last but certainly not least is the Leader who brought this all together, Sassy Kitten! Let’s find out how everything went from her point of view! 

The road splitting was pretty easy. Chef set a good foundation for me to work from so I just had to keep everything going smoothly from there. Things have been good for me since the split as both squads have been growing at their own pace bringing in quality members. Challenges for me would be making enough time for both squads and making sure both squads stay on top of their numbers and growth they need to do. I want both squads to keep a great culture that will spread throughout KSI. I want them both to grow and split again eventually but there's no rush for that. 

Let’s make sure we celebrate another great split and watch as these squads continue to flourish within KSI and continue to be pillars in the community.
