“My name is KSI Shatner7, and I am the Supervisor for AAP, which is the Awards and Achievements Program. I started in .Org in Clan Ops and became involved in various areas of the community such as AAP, Education and the Leadership Council. I came to .Com last summer during the rebuild, and have remained here ever since. AAP serves the community by recognizing and rewarding members for their efforts to make KSI a welcoming environment for gamers to come together and have a place to call home with like minded individuals. Awards range from funny (Soap Box) to prestigious service awards such as Outstanding Service. We are currently gearing up towards our large yearly events which include the Of The Year Awards and Hall of Fame induction. We do have an event coming up that coincides with the upcoming Call of Duty release, and more details will be released on that soon. We are always hiring, and looking for members who can remain unbiased. That is arguably the most important trait of a staff member in AAP. When it comes to voting on awards such as the Of The Month awards, staff members are to vote solely on the quality of statements provided with no influence from how one person may feel about the nominee, or what they've heard through the grapevine. We have lengthy discussions during the voting process, and do our best to ensure the department does right by the community. For those that don't know, we are always open to new ideas for awards. Some of our longstanding awards started out as a simple idea, so don't be afraid to let them be heard. You can reach out to any of us in the department to get the ball rolling. I would like to shout out to the entire department for working together to make sure awards are being verified in a timely manner, and AWOL for being a phenomenal Team Lead! I couldn't be happier with the department right now!”
