Ranking with in KSI GLOBAL GAMING NETWORK is very important to each of our members. Our ranking system is how KSI operates in the up most efficient manner.
To have a program like KSI is a great challenge to all of us working at the top. We try and perfect what to us is like running a military style operation. KSI has a Ranking system some what like that of the military structure. We are of course a lot more laid back then the armed forces, but set up in a way that when we move into a new game, or system the leaders of KSI move fast to set up a working squad system where rank is the most important to set new standards.
When KSI first started in Unreal Championship we were on a different set up where Xbox Live Gamers would have to host their on servers. It was difficult because most of us had low upload speeds. Gamers would have to find a friend that had a fast internet connection. Setting up a gaming group or squad match took having two members that would go around from server to server asking every one if they were in a clan and if they wanted a clan match. We were lucky enough to find a guy with a dedicated server set up. To set up a dedicated server the person had to go to the game options or set up and leave the XBOX LIVE running. It was great but if their power went out or a family member turned the XBOX off then 16 players had to find a new server. We found a guy that his server hardly ever went down. That is where we came up with the name KSI, after the server name. Once we had a server we begin to build KSI from the server. KSI became easy from that point on we just recruited as many members as we could with a fast server.
Next we would go in to new games that came out like Return To Castle Wolfenstein, Solder of Fortune, and the first Rainbow Six 3. That is how we set KSI up in the old days before HALO 2. We would move in and before we knew it KSI had 150+ members and 12 servers. Times where great when we would move the KSI operation into a new game we would just take over the game.
Now the system is better set up for gaming clans and much easer to set up new squads over night. As long as we keep our Ranking System in place and continue to teach KSI members to become their on leaders by using the KSI Code of Conduct and Ranking Stretcher. I see a great future ahead for the KSI Global Gaming Network. Welcome to the Future of online gaming with a system that has proven not to fail.
PRIVATE
Private can be classified as a new member to KSI. Anyone joining KSI will automatically receive this rank. Responsibilitie s of a Private include knowing the Code of Conduct, meeting other KSI members, and participating in clan matches. Your time as a Private is geared towards letting you get familiar with the KSI community and the way we work.
SERGEANT
A Sergeant is a KSI gamer whom has acquired a KSI gamer tag. As a Sergeant, leaders will be depending on you to learn game strategies and train with others in order to better prepare for clan matches. You will be expected to be an example to the Privates below you and to help them when possible.
LIEUTENANT
Lieutenants hold the duty of helping with the training of lower ranking members of KSI. Serves as an aid to the Captain above you.
CAPTAIN
As a captain, it is standard for you to begin taking a stronger leadership role. You may be expected to begin running practices and clan matches, or be sent out to recruit. Also keeps track of squad records and lists. Ensures the lower ranking are well acquainted with the code of conduct.
MAJOR
A Major should take initiative to run clan matches. (At their squad leader�s discretion.) Majors will take charge if no higher ranked members are available. Majors may move throughout KSI to help the General and coordinates with the Captains.
GENERAL
The rank of General is to be taken very seriously by everyone in the lower ranks. A General will take charge for a Co-founder or Founder and is responsible for taking care of minor matters at such times. The General is expected to report infractions to their leaders. They work closely with their teams and Co-Founders.
CO-FOUNDER
A Co-founder is responsible for the running of a squad when the Founder is not present. Co-founders assume nearly all of the same duties of a founder in their absence and will help keep the squad running smoothly. They also set up clan matches. May be required to send in squad lists. They are also required to keep discipline within their squad.
FOUNDER
Founders are the leaders of their squads. A founder is responsible for all aspects of their clan. They must oversee all activity within their individual squads, as well as help other when needed. A founder must be fair but firm, and represent the best that KSI has to offer.
SPOKESMODEL
Our Spokesmodel will be in charge of our public relations. She will handle interviews and answer questions that the public may have. The Spokesmodel will represent the voice of KSI.
CLAN LEADER
Clan Leaders oversee the coordination of the Founders. They make sure the clan goes in the right direction and keep order between the Founders.
CO-CREATOR
Co-Creators work directly with our Creator. They handle the marketing and major publicity stunts, as well as help with any problems in the squads. When the Creator isn�t available, Co-Creators take charge.
CREATOR
This position leaves our Creator with no free time. Our leader gives us his days and nights and keep all of KSI running smoothly. He is the backbone for the entire KSI Global Gaming Network. He has full charge over all aspects of KSI.
