She's the resident gamer, spy, and reporter for www.xbox.com. She's Xbox Live Trixie, famous voice to the gaming community. I spoke with Trixie recently, and she is a very nice and intelligent person. We are pleased to give the interview many of our gamers have been requesting.

KSI Ladyluck 7: First Off...This interview and all of its contents will be viewed by the public. Do you agree?

Trixie: Yes

KSI Ladyluck 7: How long have you been a gamer?

Trixie: Since Pong.

KSI Ladyluck 7: How many hours do you play on XBOX Live?

Trixie: Before I got my Xbox 360 dev kit, I played about 4-5 hours a week on Xbox Live.

KSI Ladyluck 7: What is your favorite XBOX Live game?

Trixie: I have to say I get the most replay enjoyment out of the Live Arcade games. Microsoft is a very aggressive environment and people work really really hard. So when I get home I love to kick back in my giant beanbag and play the Arcade games. Bejeweled has a sort of Zen quality to it. But of course there are always those times you need to kick a little ass in Halo 2.

KSI Ladyluck 7: What game are you most active in other than Halo 2?

Trixie: Hmm, I don't know.

KSI Ladyluck 7: What game are you most looking forward to?

Trixie: Kameo and Oblivion.

KSI Ladyluck 7: All the guys are wanting to know. Is Trixie available, or is she married?

Trixie: I'm not married, but I'm extremely picky.

KSI Ladyluck 7: You have a very fascinating career. How would one pursue a career in a field such as yours?

Trixie: I got into it through the journalism route. I worked on my college newspaper and wrote editorials and film reviews…they had a sort of edge to them that translated pretty well into the gaming world. My advice to would-be gaming writers is this: You gotta pay your dues. You start at the bottom doing the crap no one else wants to. You do it well and without complaining and you will be rewarded. But you gotta put in time on the bottom rung of the ladder.

KSI Ladyluck 7: What is the hardest part of your job?

Trixie: The only thing that bums me out is when people in the community treat each other badly. I'm not calling out any one in particular—it takes two to fight—but but some of the catty, mean stuff I've seen going on is especially bad for girl gamers. It just reinforces the stereotypes that the guys have of us. If we can't all get along, then I would ask that we leave each other alone.

KSI Ladyluck 7: What is it like to work for Microsoft?

Trixie: It's great. It's awesome to work with so many freakin' smart people, on such cool innovative, fun stuff. I also feel REALLY proud to work for a company that makes great products that improve people's lives, doesn't pollute the environment, doesn't exploit people, and gives back to the community in a big way…it's all good.

KSI Ladyluck 7: Besides working for Microsoft and playing XBOX, what do you do for fun?

Trixie: Books, movies, music. No bungie jumping or sky diving for me.

KSI Ladyluck 7: I have been read many of your interviews, which are very good. You have given many celebrity interviews. What has been the most exciting interview and why?

Trixie: Michelle Rodriguez was awesome because she was cute and nice and talked about games and movies in a genuine way. She wasn't phony or full of herself at all.

KSI Ladyluck 7: What's your outlook on girl gamers when the xbox 360 comes out this holiday? Do you think more females will start appearing online?

Trixie: I do think more girls will get online with the Xbox 360, and here's why: For those who have kids we've got some amazing Family Settings options that allow moms (and dads) to limit their kids' online activities. For instance you can let your kids set up a gamertag and play online, but only with people on their friends list, and you can have approval on the friends list. Another reason more girls will get online with 360 are the Gamer Zones and reputation. I think some women are reluctant to get online for two main reasons: they may be new to gaming and don't feel like their skills are up to par, or they're afraid of being mocked or hit on. The family zone and recreation zone are a great place for fledgling gamer girls to start. If someone hits on you or is rude, send feedback and designate them an 'avoided player.' We're doing a lot of stuff to make sure EVERYONE has a fun gaming experience no matter what their age, gender, or skill level.

KSI Ladyluck 7: There are many people who are asking which is better PS3 or XBOX 360. Which system do you think will be better and why?

Trixie: Well you gotta know I'm going with Xbox 360! I've got one and it's amazing. I'm not going to start spouting marketing lines or technical specs. What I know about is community, and Sony just can't come close to what we offer. You guys know this already. We have a huge, thriving community that's just going to grow while at the same time offering each member opportunities to express themselves and set themselves apart.

KSI Ladyluck 7: Many of the members of KSI have questions for you as well. So we narrowed it down to a few for you. What is the best website for information about the upcoming XBOX 360?

Trixie: Xbox.com, of course. We don't do rumors. If you read it on our site, it's the truth.

KSI Ladyluck 7: We have a few members who are incapable of using both hands. Do you know if XBOX is ever going to make controllers for people with one hand, or other disabilities? Or are there any available?

Trixie: I don't know of plans for any one-handed controllers, but I will ask my peripherals buddies downstairs if there's anything in the works.

KSI Ladyluck 7: What is your view on the new rating system? Do you think it will be an effective system to keep the modders and cheaters off?

Trixie: Yes. I think that it's going to allow people to easily and effectively weed out the people who suck. Some super-brainiacs worked for a long time on some crazy-cool algorithms for matchmaking. The great thing for the community is that you don't have to think about that backend stuff. Your ability to choose a Gamer Zone, send feedback, designate people as a either a 'preferred player' or 'avoided player,' and manage your friends list gives you a lot of power over your gaming experience.

KSI Ladyluck 7: One of the girls was wondering what is your favorite color?

Trixie: Blue.

KSI Ladyluck 7: Many people have asked me the same question. Are you PMS Trixie?

Trixie: Nope. She nabbed the gamertag before I did. I am not affiliated with any clan or organization. I love all the gamers

KSI Ladyluck 7: This is a question from the creator of KSI Global Gaming Network. He is a big pink lemonade drinker, and he was wondering. What is your favorite drink?

Trixie: Diet Coke is the elixir of life. After hours my drink of the moment is Red Bull and Absolut Vanilla—yummy.

KSI Ladyluck 7: Snowdust has created a signature for you. Is it ok for us to use this signature to put on our website with the article?

Trixie: Very cool! Thanks!
