Female Gamers against Breast Cancer @ Widow Maker Gaming Center [Charity Event]
JC Media is hosting a very special event on Saturday March 24th. March is Women's History month so, in recognition, JC Media + Entertainment [http://jc-media.com/index.php?nav=event&eventId=6] and Widow Maker Gaming Center will be donating proceeds from this event will go to Susan G. Komen, [http://cms.komen.org/komen/index.htm] the nation's leading charity for breast cancer. We would like for men and women (especially women!!!) alike to come and participate in this very important event.

JC Media's objectives for this event is simple. To raise awareness and money for Susan G. Komen [http://cms.komen.org/komen/index.htm] for breast cancer. Also, to unite female gamers in a fun environment where they can meet and socialize with other female gamers like themselves.

When: Saturday March 24th

Time: 1pm (Registration begins at 11am).

Entry Fee:

Every entrant will receive a PINK RIBBON in support of breast cancer awareness

Women $10

Men $20 Venue Fee: $5

Also, female gamers (and non gamers), in recognition of the Yoplait 'Saving Lids for Lives' program, can bring in PINK Yoplait Lids. For each multiple of 10, they will receive $1 off their entry fee into the charity event for a maximum of $10 off.

Games:

Halo2 [2v2]

DOA4 [2v2]

Gears of War [2v2]

Format:

Single Elim on all three games. Each game will be a 2v2 format. Every team must compete in all three games together. In each game, every team will receive points based on their placement. At the end of all three games, the team with the most points will be awarded with the 1st place prize. Prize:

1st = 50% of Entry Fee's

2nd = Promotional

3rd = Promotional

Remember this event is for Charity!! Let's all have fun, and support a great cause. We want to see a large number of female gamers support the event. See you there!
