	In September 2024, Hype Squad was moved from [[Community Services]] to [[Digital Services]] and was to be merged into [[Social Media Team]]. The merge failed, resulting in Hype Squad staying a stand-alone team. [[KSI Ghoulina]] would take over the team until she was forced to give it to [[KSI SassyKitten]] due to the 3 team rule. Hype Squad was reorganized by [[KSI New Blue 7]] and [[KSI Hitman 7]] who gave the team a new direction.		In September 2024, Hype Squad was moved from [[Community Services]] to [[Digital Services]] and was to be merged into [[Social Media Team]]. The merge failed, resulting in Hype Squad staying a stand-alone team. [[KSI Ghoulina]] would take over the team until she was forced to give it to [[KSI SassyKitten]] due to the 3 team rule. Hype Squad was reorganized by [[KSI New Blue 7]] and [[KSI Hitman 7]] who gave the team a new direction.

			On 2/2/2025 Hype Squad was shut down by Executive leadership.

			"After several months of feedback from the community and several attempts made to change how the team runs the decision was made to shut down hype squad as a team. We truly appreciate the work that the team members have put into it every week. Leadership will work with the team members to help them find a team that they want to take part in inside of the Web Ops Departments." - [[KSI IronBear 7]]
