Here's this week's Newsletter! Thank you all for reading and congrats to everyone on the INSANE amount of promotions!! Keep up the incredible work!

WEB OPERATIONS 

KSI Global Mods
Mods will no longer just delete based off of one member saying they find something offensive in nature. From now on mods will review the message or situation within the community and if the situation is found to break the community rules and guidelines it can face removal and disciplinary action as equal to the offense or if several members come forth and declare that they find a post or situation offensive then team will remove and take actions necessary if any are required. The team has received too many false complaints about situations happening in the server causing members to get upset that their messages are getting deleted and they feel targeted by others simply for posting into the server.

Examples of what will get deleted:
explicit NSFW related images, gifs, text, or anything of that nature. we are a gaming community not an adult club please behave accordingly
anything that breaks the rules and guidelines laid out in the ⁠【】server-rules channel. All KSI members regardless of rank are subject to follow these rules and guidelines to make a safe environment for everyone.
racially charged attacks against someone
sexism or discrimination based off of someone's gender or sexuality
inflammatory posts of any kind looking to start an argument, cause drama, or are attempting to hurt other members of KSI as a whole.

as always the moderation team is trying their best to continue to help make this community a better place for everyone. As such they have been working hard to meet the standards of the team, department, and community that are placed upon them. 

If you feel a situation needs mod intervention or needs the mods to review please use the /pingmods command to anonymously ping the mods and they will come to help in the channel that the request is done for. Please only use that if the mods are actually needed and not for false accusations. This is the best way to get the mods to come help as all of them from the mod boss down will get the ping.

Divisional Of The Month awards are now live! We have grown to the point as a community where we're able to bring these back, and they're a great opportunity for members within individual Divisions to be recognized for their hard work and efforts by the Division Staff. These would not be possible without the huge amount of dedication each of you have put forth over the last year! All Div Staff (CoFo to Div Lead) please refer to the newly created DOTM topic found in the Award request area ⁠DOTM Guideline Any questions, feel free to reach out to KSI Shatner7. These are due by the end of the day on August 31st. That being said, normal Of The Month Awards will resume next month. DOTMs will take place quarterly, and take the place of OTMs during the months that they are active. 

Discord Blitz will go live by 10AM EST August 30th, and run through 10AM EST August 31st. Members will see a topic titled Discord Blitz in the AAP Award Request area⁠【⚜】aap-requests Everyone who participates by responding to the prompt will receive the Discord Blitz Award. Act fast, as it will only be open for a period of 24 hours, and your next opportunity to earn the award will be in December! Those who participate in multiple Discord Blitzes are eligible for the next award tier. Example:

Discord Blitz - Member participated in their first Blitz!

Set... - Member has participated in 2 Discord Blitzes

...Hike - Member has participated in 3 Discord Blitzes

Turnover! - Member has participated in 4 Discord Blitzes
