After playing several custom games in a row it quickly becomes apparrent. For the most part, we really hate the smg. I mean let's be honest, getting killed by an smg is worst than getting humped or corpse whacked after a kill. Sure pairred with another weapon like a pp or a pr they can be deadly but compared to the battle rifle, the correct analogy would be a knife versus a sword.

Our good friends at bungie have, of course, catered to our demands and loaded matchmaking with BR games, one of the most common being human slayer br. But alas, those pesky cheaters have exploited our battle rifles by hacking using Action Replay Softmod techniques. Cheaters now can super bounce on command, crouch will running, super run, fly warthogs like banshees, use autoaim, and rapid fire (one shot kills) with a battle rifle. Now these things are fun to do and to see, but they do not belong in matchmaking.In about eight games of Team Slayer I ran into two modders.

Now that our standby days are mostly over, we halo purists look to a new arch nemesis, Action Replay.
