A Japanese magazine called Famitsu recently did an interest poll to the Japanese gamers on the new gaming systems.

Playstation 3 still has the most interest with 63% were going to buy it. The biggest reasons were its features (70.4%), and line up of games (61%). The biggest reasons not to buy it were the unannounced price (43.1%), its controller (32%), and because it doesn't bring anything new to the Playstation 2 (54.9%).


Coming in second was the Nintendo Revolution with 36% were interested in buying the console. The biggest reasons for buying the console were download plans (80%), its Wi-Fi (42%), and its controller (41.7%). The beiggest reason for not to buy it were "from the beginning I did not want to buy one (53%), "I don't fully understand its features" (72%), and its unannounced price (60%).

In third place was the Xbox 360 with only 24% of those polled interested in buying and 40% still undecided. The new controller was one of the main reasons Japanese gamers would buy the console (82.2%), as well as for the console's features (53.9%). While the biggest reasons for not buying the 360 were "Just didnt like it" (49.3%), and uninterested (49.1%). 81% of the undecided listed the price being the biggest reason why they were not going to buy the Xbox 360.
